The KiKA app (formerly KiKA Player app) is the free media library from the children's channel of ARD and ZDF and offers children's series, children's films and videos for children to stream and watch offline as well as the TV program via live stream.

Did your child miss Schloss Einstein or Die Pfefferkörner? Did you look for Unser Sandmännchen at night because your kids can't sleep? In the KiKA app you can easily find many programs, children's series and children's films from KiKA. Whether fairy tales and films, Fireman Sam, Löwenzahn or the Smurfs - we have something for everyone. Take a look at the media library!

📺 TV PROGRAM
Do you want to know what's on TV? The KiKA TV program is always available as a live stream. Your child can jump back two hours in time and watch the programs they just missed. And they can see what's being broadcast today.

✈️ MY OFFLINE VIDEOS
Are you on the go with your kids and don't have Wi-Fi or enough mobile data to watch your favorite series? Simply save videos in your offline area beforehand. This way, kids can watch our children's programs anytime, anywhere with the KiKA app - whether at home or on the go.

🙂 MY PROFILE - MY AREA
Does your younger child particularly like KiKANiNCHEN, Super Wings, and Shaun the Sheep, but your older sibling would rather watch the educational programs and series for older children like Checker Welt, logo!, PUR+, the WGs, or Germany's Best Class? Each child can create their own profile and save their favorite videos in the "I Like" section. They can watch videos they've started later in the "Continue Watching" section, or save them for offline use. Whether it's Heart Bear, Cyclops, or Unicorn - everyone can choose their own avatar and customize the app for themselves.

📺 STREAM VIDEOS TO TV
Is a tablet or phone too small for you? Would you rather watch your favorite series or movies together as a family or with friends? With Chromecast, you can stream the videos to the big screen. The KiKA app is also available as an HbbTV offering on your smart TV. This way, you can bring the children's program directly into your living room.

ℹ️ INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
The family-friendly KiKA app (formerly the KiKA Player app) is protected and age-appropriate. It only displays children's films and series that are appropriate for children. Only age-appropriate videos are recommended based on the age information in the profile. In the parents' area, parents will find additional features to tailor the content even more to their children's needs. It is possible to limit the display of videos throughout the app to films and series for preschool children. The live stream can be turned on and off. Furthermore, the available video time can be set using the app alarm. As always, the public children's program remains free, non-violent, and ad-free.
